DHAKA, Nov 19, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh Navy will keep its ships in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal and Chandpur districts open for all people to visit on the occasion of the 'Armed Forces Day' on November 21.

A release of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) informed here today.

The vessels of the Naval Force will remain open at the selected river ports from 2pm until the sun sets on the day (Thursday), it said.

The venues where ships will be kept open are BNS Chitra at Sadarghat in Dhaka, BNS Somudra Avijan at Naval Berth at New Mooring in Chattogram, BNS Shaheed Akhter Uddin at BIWTA Launch Terminal in Khulna, BNS Kapatakhaya at Digraj Naval Berth in Mongla, BNS Borkat at BIWTA Ghat of Barishal and BNS Shaheed Daulat at BIWTA Ghat in Chandpur, the ISPR release added.
