US Embassy invites applications for Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation

DHAKA, Nov 19, 2024 (BSS) - The US Embassy in Dhaka has opened applications for the US Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) Grant Program, which supports projects aimed at preserving cultural heritage.

Grants available range from $25,000 to $500,000, with project duration varying from one to five years, said a US embassy's press release here today. 

The initiative backs efforts to preserve historic buildings, archaeological sites, manuscripts, museum collections, and traditional cultural expressions, such as indigenous languages and crafts, across more than 120 countries.

Applications for the AFCP Grant Program must be submitted by January 14, 2025.
