DHAKA, Nov 19, 2024 (BSS) - The government today appointed retired judge of the High Court Division Justice Md Emdadul Haque as the director general (DG) of the Judicial Administration Training Institute (JATI).

Law and Justice Division of the Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard.

Signed by Law and Justice Division secretary (current charge) Sheikh Abu Taher, the notification said the government appointed Justice Md Emdadul Haque as the director general of the Judicial Administration Training Institute for one year from the date of his joining.

He will enjoy salary, allowance, and other benefits equivalent to those of a High Court Division justice.
