DHAKA, Nov 19, 2024 (BSS) - The government has formed the trustee board of Buddhist Religious Welfare Trust with Religious Affairs Adviser as its chairman as an ex officio.

Secretary to the ministry of religious affairs will act as member as an ex officio while Bhabesh Chakma as vice chairman of the trust, said a notification issued here on Monday.

The other members of board are- Professor Dr Sukomal Barua, Major (retd) Dr Ajay Prakash Chakma, Mong Hola Ching, Professor Bobi Barua, Rajib Kanti Barua, Sushil Chandra Barua and Rubel Barua.

The tenure of the board will be till November 16, 2027, it also said.
