DHAKA, Nov 19, 2024 (BSS) - Three High Court judges, who have been kept away from judicial functions for around five years, have resigned.
They are Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury, Justice Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque and
Justice A.K.M. Zahirul Hoque.
The judges submitted their resignation letters which were accepted by the President.
A notification signed by Law and Justice Division Secretary (current charge) Sheikh Abu Taher was issued on Monday to this end.
According to the notification, the three judges signed resignation letters addressed to the president in line with article 96(4) of the constitution.
