DHAKA, Nov 20, 2024 (BSS)- The closing and prize distribution ceremony of Inter-Base Athletics Competition of Bangladesh Air Force was held at sports ground of Bangladesh Air Force Base Kurmitola today.

Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan witnessed the final day’s events as Chief Guest and distributed medals and trophies among the winners.

Bangladesh Air Force Base Kurmitola team became champion with 10 gold, 09 silver and 10 bronze medals while Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque team became runner up with 04 gold, 02 silver and 03 bronze medals.

AC-2 Sabbir of Bangladesh Air Force Base Kurmitola team was adjudged as the best athlete in the competition.

Among others senior BAF Officers, Airmen and other members were present on the occasion.

Seven teams of Bangladesh Air Force participated in this three day competition.
