HABIGANJ, Nov 21, 2024 (BSS) - A daylong consultative workshop on land management reform was   held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's (DC) Office of the district today with the aim to provide people-friendly land services.

Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Land ASM Saleh Ahmed spoke virtually as the chief guest while DC Faridur Rahman chaired it.

Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Land Emdadul Haque Chowdhury addressed the function as the special guest.

Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Land Md. Zahid, Deputy Director of Local Government Nurul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner 9General) Prabhangshu Som Mohan, BAKS President Shamsul Huda, Secretary of Bangladesh Tea Workers Union Nipen Pal, among others, spoke.

People from various walks of life, including heads of various departments, among others, participated in the day-long workshop.
