FENI, Nov 22, 2014 (BSS) - A huge quantities of Indian commodities worth of
Taka 4 crore and 18 lakh have been seized in the different frontiers in the
district.

Army sources said on information a joint team of army and police stopped a
pickup van in Parshuram Upazila Health Complex Road today and seized a huge
number of Sari, clothes, three-piece and Orna worth of Taka around 3 crore.
Captain Kamruzzaman led the drive.

Officer-in-Charge of Parshuram Model Thana Maksud Ahmed confirmed.

Besides, Boarder Guard Bangladesh in a drive in Rajoshpur last night seized
Indian Sari's worth about Taka 15 lakh.

Boarder Guard Bangladesh also conducted raid in different frontiers in
Chagalnaiya and Fulgazi upazila and seized Indian Lehenga, Sari, Kashmiri
Shal, three-piece and ganja worth of Taka one crore today.

Director of 4-BGB battalion lieutenant colonel Mohammad Mosharrof Hossain
confirmed.
