DHAKA, Nov 23, 2024 (BSS) - A fire broke out in a multi-storey building near
Tejgaon College at Farmgate in the capital today.

The fire originated in the basement of seven-storey Manosi plaza around 9:30
in the morning, said an official of Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCF).

No casualties were reported, he said.

Five firefighting engines from different police stations rushed to the place
of occurrence and have been trying to douse the flame till filing of the
report at 4:37pm today.

"But different types of goods which were stored in the basement causes
disruption to bring the blaze under control", the official said, adding that
the cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
