DHAKA, Nov 26, 2024 (BSS) - The government has appointed four new divisional commissioners for Chattogram, Sylhet, Khulna and Rajshahi as part of field level administration reshuffle.

A gazette notification, signed by Aminul Islam, deputy secretary of Field Administration-2 Section under the Ministry of Public Administration, was issued in this regard today.

According to the notification, additional secretary Dr Md Ziauddin has been appointed as divisional commissioner to Chattogram, additional secretary Khan Md Reza-un-Nabi to Sylhet, additional secretary Md Firoz Sarkar to Khulna and additional secretary Khondoker Azim Ahmed has been appointed as divisional commissioner to Rajshahi division.

It said the order was issued as per the public interest, which will be effective immediately.
