DHAKA, Nov 27, 2024 (BSS) - The government has posted two Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to Thakurgaon and Rangamati districts.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification regarding the reshuffle on Wednesday.

According to the notification, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Thakurgaon Ishrat Farzana has been transfer to Rangamati as new DC and District Magistrate.

In the same notification, Mohammad Habib Ullah, a deputy secretary of the Finance Division, has been appointed as the new DC of Thakurgaon.

It said the order published in the public interest will be effective immediately.
