DHAKA, Nov 30, 2024 (BSS) - The three-day annual ‘Agrahayan Mahfil’ of Charmonai Darbar Sharif ended today with offering final prayers for the welfare of the country and the Muslim Ummah across the globe. 

The mahfil was started at the historic Chormonai Madrasah playground in Barishal Sadar Upazila after the Zohr prayer on November 27 with the opening speech of Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, said a press release.

The assembly of lakhs of devotees concluded at 8:30am today with the final prayer. People of different strata of life including administrative officers, political leaders, Olama-Mashayek and mass media people took part in the mahfil.

Speaking on the occasion, Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim called upon their followers to follow the right path described in the Holy Quaran. 

He also prayed for peace of the Muslim Ummah in Palestine, India, Kashmi, Myanmar, Syria and elsewhere across the globe.
