PANCHAGARH, Dec 01 (BSS) - Sarjis Alam, a key coordinator of the anti-discrimination student  movement,  today visited different markets in Debiganj Bazar under Debiganj upazila in Panchagarh district .

Sarjis Alam, also General Secretary of July Shaheed Smriti Foundation, visited fish market, vegetables markets, rice market and others shops and enquired about the prices of  essential commodities and said the present government is working to keep prices of food and other commodities at the tolerable level of the general people.

Sarjis came to Debiganj upazila from Dhaka and stayed here for some hours there before going to his house in Atwari.

“It is my short tour in Debiganj. Debiganj is a beautiful upazila. I will come to in Debiganj again to stay for a long time,” he told journalists.  Student movement coordinator Ohasis and others students were present during his visit.
