ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, KUSHTIA, DEC 02, 2024 (BSS) - Professor Dr M Yeaqub Ali of Al-Quran and Islamic Studies department and Professor Dr Jahangir Alam of Economics department were respectively made pro vice-chancellor and treasurer of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia.

President Mohammed Shahabuddin, also the chancellor of the university, appointed them to the post on Monday.

Separate gazettes signed by deputy secretary of the Ministry of Education Shahinoor Islam were issued in this regard.
