DHAKA, Dec 4, 2024 (BSS) - A delegation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), USA , today paid a courtesy call on Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sazzad Ali.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Assistant Legal Attaché Robert J. Cameron and Police Liaison Specialist Muhammad Aminul Islam of the Office of the Legal Attaché of the US Embassy visited DMP Headquarters this morning, said a police press release.

Senior DMP officials were present at the time.

The meeting discussed about continued cooperation between the two sides to improve further mutual relations between the DMP and the FBI.

The meeting also discussed various aspects on determining future work plans for enhancing the efficiency of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) officers, continuing mutual cooperation in preventing crimes such as terrorism, cybercrime and transnational crime, and providing assistance to each other in improving professional standard.
