DHAKA, Dec 5, 2024 - (BSS) - Twenty three newly appointed judges of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court today paid a courtesy call on President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban here today. 
 
The Head of State congratulated the new judges, President's Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin told BSS after the meeting. 
 
President Shahabuddin said the judicial proceedings in the country's highest court would speed up through the appointment of the new judges' and it will benefit the litigants in the long run. 
 
The judges would be able to ensure quick disposal of the cases by using their skills and talents, the President hoped.
 
President Office's Senior Secretary Dr Nasimul Ghani, Military Secretary Major General Mohammad Adil Chowdhury and Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin were present.
