DHAKA, Dec 5, 2024 (BSS) - Prof. Santiago Fernandez Mosquera, Inditex Chair 
of Spanish Language and Culture, Spain paid a courtesy call on Dhaka 
University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan today at the 
latter's office of the university. 

He was accompanied by Spanish Visiting Professor at DU Maria Amparo Porta 
Rivas and Professor Maria Josefa Martinez Lopez.

During the meeting they stressed the need for strengthening joint 
collaborative academic, research and cultural exchange programs being 
conducted by the University of Dhaka and various universities in Spain. 

Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan thanked the Spanish Inditex Chair for his visit to 
Dhaka University and keen interest in strengthening joint collaborative 
academic and research activities with DU.
