DHAKA, Dec 06, 2024 (BSS) - Three more dengue patients died and 186 patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the last 24 hours.

"During the period, 42 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka north city, 67 in Dhaka south city, 40 in Dhaka division (outside of city corporations), four in Barishal division, five in Chattogram division, 17 in Khulna division, 10 in Mymensingh division and 21 in Sylhet division," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

This year, a total of 517 people died of dengue disease, it added.

Meanwhile, 199 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country in last 24 hours. With this, a total of 92,200 people have been discharged this year.
