DHAKA, Dec 8, 2024 (BSS) - The Police Headquarters (PHQ) has requested 
everyone not to be deceived by any kind of financial transactions or any 
other irregularities to get appointed to the post of Sub-Inspector (SI).

A press release, signed by AIG (Media & PR) Enamul Haque Sagor, of police 
headquarters said today.
 
Candidates are being selected only on the basis of merit, competence and 
transparency in the recruitment process for the post of SI in the Bangladesh 
Police, it said, adding, "Appropriate legal action will be taken against 
anyone promising employment in return for any financial transactions."

"If you find such fraudsters, you are specifically requested to report to the 
nearest police station or the SP (Superintendent of Police) office," the PHQ 
release added.
