DHAKA, Dec 08, 2024 (BSS) – Police arrested a woman in connection with a murder case from Jashore District today.  

Acting on a tip-off,  Chawk Bazar Model Thana police conducted a drive arrested Sabina Akhter from Mirzapur Madhapara under Bagharpara police station and recovered two mobile phone sets  of victim Nazrul from her possession.

Police said Sabina Akhter was involved in plastics product trader Nazrul Islam murder.  Nazrul Islam was murdered at a flat in Chawk Bazar of the city’s Posta area on Wednesday night. 

Md Tohidul Islam alias Taposh, brother of Nazrul Islam, filed the case with Chawk Bazar Police Station.

Legal action has been taken against Sabina.
