DHAKA, Dec 9, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today
forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry across the country for the next
24 hours begins from this morning.

"Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the
country", said the forecast begins from 9am today.

The low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining area
persists. Its associated trough extends up to North Bay.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over Northern part and light to
moderate fog at places elsewhere over the country during late night till
early morning.

Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 29.8 degrees Celsius at
Sitakunda and minimum temperature today was recorded 10.9 degrees Celsius at
Tetulia.

Night temperature may rise slightly over the country. Day temperature may
fall by (1-2) )°C over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and it may fall
slightly elsewhere over the country.

The sun sets today at 05:12 pm and rises tomorrow in the capital at 06:31 am
in the capital.
