DHAKA, Dec 9, 2024 (BSS)- Officer-in-Charge (OC) and a sub-inspector (SI) of Adabor Police Station were withdrawn.

SI Shaheen Parvez was closed on charges of taking bribe from an accused in a case filed after the fall of the Awami League government.

The SI had been entrusted with conducting investigation into the murder case filed with Adabar police station after August 5.

Mahfuz Imtiaz Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge of the police station, has also been withdrawn and attached to the DMP headquarters.

But reason behind the withdrawal of Imtiaz could not be known.
