DHAKA, Dec 11, 2024 (BSS) – Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen took charge as the seventh chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today, according to a press release.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Cabinet Division, as per the approval of President Mohammed Shahabuddin, issued a notification appointing Senior Secretary of the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen as the chairman of ACC and retired District and Sessions Judge Mia Mohammad Ali Akbar Azizi and Brigadier General (Retd) Hafiz Ahsan Farid as commissioners.

Mia Mohammad Ali Akbar Azizi also joined the office as ACC Commissioner today, the release added.
