DHAKA, Dec 11, 2024 (BSS)- Kamrangirchar thana police has arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in the killing of Md Nur Alam, a printing and packaging businessman of Hasan Nagar of Keranigonj area today.

Police said the arrested persons were identified as Miraz Miah, 20, Md Shipon alias Samrat, 25 and Md Rifat, 19. 

Police claimed that they recovered a hammer, a scissor and two knives used in the killing from the possession of the arrested persons.

Nur Alam was stabbed to death on Friday last by a group of miscreants and later dumped the body under the ground of his factory.

Ataullah Khan Sajib, son-in-law of Nur Alam lodged a complaint with police in this connection.
   
From secret sources police collected information about the killers. On the basis of that information police arrested Miraz, a staff of Nur Alam’s factory. Later police arrested Rifat and Shipon from Keraniganj and Sadarghat area.

Based on the information of the arrested persons police recovered the body of Nur Alam from the printing and packaging factory ground and sent it to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
