SAVAR, Dec 14, 2024 (BSS)- The authorities of Jahangirnagar University (JU) today observed the Martyred Intellectuals Day with due respect and befitting manner.

Marking the day, JU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Kamrul Ahsan placed a floral wreath at Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals Memorial around 9.30am.

JU Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Dr. Sohel Ahmed, Pro-VC (Education) Prof Dr. M. Mahfuzur Rahman, Treasurer Prof Dr. Abdur Rab, dean of different faculties, proctor, provosts of different dormitories and teachers of different departments, among others, were present.

Later, Jahangirnagar University Teachers' Association (JUTA) and other organisations of the university placed floral wreaths.
