DHAKA, Dec 15, 2024 (BSS) - A total of 373 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours till this morning.

"During the period, 36 dengue patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 34 in Chattogram, 96 in Dhaka division, 72 in Dhaka North city while 52 in Dhaka South, 44 in Khulna, 20 in Rajshahi, two in Sylhet, two in Rangpur and 15 were admitted to different hospitals in Mymensingh," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

This year, the total number of cases rose to 98,877.

Last year, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 3,21,179 dengue cases.
