DHAKA, Dec 16, 2024 (BSS) – The Islamic Foundation (IF) arranged a Quran recitation and special prayers at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque today on the occasion of the great Victory Day-2024.

Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Pesh Imam Hafez Maulana Md Muhibullahil Baki conducted the special prayers seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of the martyrs in the great Liberation War in 1971, a press release said.

Prayers were also offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and the martyrs of the 2024 mass uprising, the release added.

Special prayers were also offered wishing peace, prosperity and welfare of Bangladesh and the whole world. 

Islamic Foundation Directors Mohammad Touhidul Anwar, Md Mohiuddin and Dr Mohammad Harunur Rashid and Deputy Directors, officials and employees were present at the event.
