DHAKA, Dec 16, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh Shishu Academy today celebrated the 54th Victory Day of the country paying rich tribute to the martyrs of the War of Liberation.

To mark the day, different programmes were organized at the academy premises. The programmes included holding of discussion, handing over prizes and organizing cultural events.     
 
Senior Secretary of Women and Children Affairs Ministry Mamtaz Ahmed addressed the programme as the chief guest with Director General (DG) of Bangladesh Shishu Academy Tania Khan in the chair.

In the function, prizes and certificates were distributed among the winners of the children art competition and distributed food among helpless children.

Besides, Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) and Bangladesh Rice Research Institute celebrated the great Victory Day.
