DHAKA, Dec 17, 2024 (BSS) – Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB) Secretary General Principal Hafez Maulana Yunus Ahmad today expressed satisfaction over the High Court’s verdict of scrapping a part of the constitution’s 15th amendment, saying that the verdict about the caretaker government system has created scope to establish people’s voting right.
 
Speaking at a discussion meeting at the party’s Purana Paltan office, the IAB leader said, “Progress over fulfilling people’s voting right has been made following the verdict that has scrapped a part of the constitution’s 15th amendment.” 
    
He also demanded cancellation of all constitutional amendments that were made during the Awami League regime.
