RANGPUR, Dec 19, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Vice-chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu today said that BNP has taken to the field to rebuild a besieged and ruined Bangladesh.
 
“Fascist Sheikh Hasina has led Bangladesh to the path of destruction in 16 years. After destroying the country, she had fled the country. We want to bring her back to face justice to create such an example so that such monster is not re-emerged in Bangladesh,” he said.
 
Dudu said this as the chief guest at  Rangpur divisional organizational meeting of BNP at the Shimulbag Community Centre in the East Gate area of Rangpur Medical College and Hospital on Thursday.
 
Organizing secretary of BNP Central Executive Committee (Rangpur division) Principal Asadul Habib Dulu presided over the organisational meeting.
 
Dudu said that Sheikh Hasina has committed genocide, looted and destroyed the country. Sheikh Hasina has wiped out everything. There is no money, there is no progress.
 
“ The ousted Sheikh Hasina has destroyed the electoral system, financial institutions, banks, insurance companies and wiped out everything,” he said.
 
The BNP Vice-chairman said that the BNP must be prepared to establish a new Bangladesh through elections and   the establishment of democracy.
 
BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman has prepared BNP for the movement for last 16 years with new initiatives, ideas and consciousness.
 
Now, this organizational meeting has been called to build a new Bangladesh and to make BNP disciplined and strong.
 
“Our leader Tarique Rahman said that the upcoming elections may be difficult for us. The organization must be prepared accordingly,” he said.
 
Dudu also said that BNP is fighting to re-establish democracy and eradicate fascism from the country forever.
 
“BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has ordered to stand by those who were martyred and injured in July-August uprising -2024,” he said.
 
BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's adviser Baby Nazneen, BNP National Executive Committee member Hasan Rajib Prodhan, Rangpur Metropolitan BNP convener Shamsuzzaman Samu, its Member-secretary Advocate Mahfuz Un Nabi Don, District BNP convener Md Saiful Islam, its Member-secretary Anisur Rahman Laku were present.
 
Presidents, general secretaries, conveners and member-secretaries of all level units of BNP under Rangpur division participated in Rangpur organisational meeting of BNP.
