DHAKA, Dec 20, 2024 (BSS) - A fire that broke out at a restaurant in capital's Uttara this morning was fully brought under control after a hectic effort of the fire fighters.

A total of 12 firefighting units worked to douse the blaze which originated around 10:38am at Love Leen restaurant at Uttara-12, said a press release of Fire Service and Civil Defence.

It said the fire was completely extinguished at 3pm, and seven people were rescued by fire service officials from the burning building. 

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
