DHAKA, Dec 20, 2024 (BSS)- Tributes and condolences continue to pour in for Adviser for Civil Aviation and Tourism A F Hassan Ariff, who passed away at the age of 85 today.
Immediately after his demise, people from all walks of life as well as advisers expressed their shock and condolences.
In a message of condolence, Home Adviser Lt. Gen. Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) expressed profound shock at the death of Adviser A F Hassan Ariff.
In separate condolence message Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed condoled the death of Adviser A F Hassan Ariff.
In another condolence message Foreign Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain expressed profound grief at the death of Hassan Ariff.
Besides, in separate messages, Fisheries and Live Stock Adviser Farida Akhter, Local Government, Rural Development, and Cooperative Affairs Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, Religious Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain, Energy Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, Food Adviser Ali Imam Majumder, Housing and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Textiles and Jute Adviser Sk. Bashir Uddin and Planning and Education Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud expressed profound shock and grief at the death of Adviser A F Hassan Ariff.
They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Adviser for Civil Aviation and Tourism A F Hassan Ariff died of a massive cardiac arrest at a city hospital this afternoon.
The adviser was brought to the hospital's emergency unit around 3pm and the doctors declared him death at 3:35 pm after necessary check up, said Labaid Media Manager Chowdhury Meher-e Khoda.
