DHAKA, Dec 21, 2024 (BSS) - The third namaz-e-janaza of Civil Aviation and Tourism Adviser to the Interim Government AF Hassan Ariff was held at Bangladesh Secretariat here today.

Environment, Forest and Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan and Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Nasreen Jahan attended the janaza, among others, said an official handout.

After the namaz-e-janaza, various ministries paid rich tributes to late adviser Ariff by placing wreath on the coffin.

Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Dr. Md Mokhles ur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Land A S M Saleh Ahmed and Secretary of the Local Government Division Md Nazrul Islam attended the janaza.

On behalf of Primary and Mass Education Adviser Professor Dr Bidhan Ranjan Roy Podder, the ministry's Deputy Chief Information Officer Md. Jahangir Alam Khan paid glowing tribute by placing flowers on the coffin of the adviser.
