DHAKA, Dec 22, 2024 (BSS) - The Chief Justice of Bangladesh Supreme Court has distributed duties among 13 secretarial staff for 13 High Court Judges who have been assigned to monitor the subordinate courts of the country.
The Chief Justice has formed 13 committees for monitoring subordinate courts under ‘The Supreme Court of Bangladesh (High Court Division Rules) of 1973,’ a press release issued by Mohammad Moazzem Hossain, Registrar of the judicial wing of the High Court said here today.
Among the judges, Justice Md Habibul Gani has been given the responsibilities to monitor the subordinate courts of Bogura, Joypurhat, Pabna and Sirajganj districts under Rajshahi division and assistant registrar (Judicial) Ashfaq Ahmed will provide the secretarial support to the committee.
Justice Md Ashraful Kamal has been assigned to monitor the subordinate courts of Barishal, Bhola, Patuakhali, Jhalokathi, Pirozpur and Borguna districts under Barishal division where Assistant Registrar(Finance) Begum Meftahul Jannat will provide secretary support.
Justice Md Jahangir Hossain has been given the charge of monitoring the subordinate courts Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Narsingdi and Tangail districts under Dhaka division where Assistant Registrar (Protocol) Md Abu Sayeed will act as a secretarial staff.
Justice Mahmudul Haque has been entrusted with task to monitor the subordinate courts of Khulna, Bagerhat, Satkhira, Jashore and Narail districts under Khulna division where government registrar (Bench and Degree) will act as secretarial staff.
Justice Zafar Ahmed has been assigned to monitor the subordinate courts of Kushtia, Meherpur, Chuadanga, Jhenaidah and Magura districts where Research and Information Officer Ragib Mahtab will work as secretarial staff.
Justice Fatema Najib has given the charge to monitor the subordinate courts of Kishoreganj, Faridpur, Rajbari, Gopalganj, Shariatpur and Madaripur districts where Assistant Registrar (research unit) Mir Mashrur Ahmed will be engaged as secretarial staff.
Justice SM Kuddus Zaman was given the charge to monitor the subordinate courts of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachhari districts where Assistant Registrar Adi Khetra will work as supporting staff.
Justice Sashangka Shekhar Sarkar has been entrusted with task to monitor the subordinate courts of Rangpur, Gaibandha, Kurigram and Lalmanirhat districts where Assistant Registrar Md Wali Ullah will work as secretarial staff.
Justice Ahmed Sohel has been given the charge of monitoring the subordinate courts of Noakhali, Feni, Luxmipur, Cumilla, Brahmanbaria and Chandpur districts where Assistant Registrar (research unit) Md Iqbal Hossain has been assigned as secretarial staff.
Justice Sardar Rashed Jahangir has been assigned for monitoring the subordinate courts of Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Naogaon and Natore districts where Assistant Registrar (budget) Md Mesbah Uddin Khan has been given the charge of secretarial staff.
Justice KM Hafizul Alam has been given the responsibility to monitor the subordinate courts of Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Panchagar and Nilphamari districts where Private Secretary to the Registrar General Md Hasibul Hossain Labu has been made secretarial staff.
Justice Md Mahmud Hassan Talukdar has been assigned for monitoring the subordinate courts of Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Sherpur and Netrakona districts where Assistance Registrar (Judicial) SM Sadakat Mahmud has been made secretarial officer.
Justice Mohammad Showkot Ali Chowdhury has been made in-charge for monitoring the subordinate courts of Sylhet, Sunamganj, Moulavi Bazar and Habiganj districts where Assistant Registrar Akramul Islam has been posted as secretarial staff.
