DHAKA, Dec 25, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country for the next 24 hours begins from 9am today.

Ridge of sub-continental high extends upto Bihar and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay, extending its trough up to North Bay.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during midnight till morning, the release said.
Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may fall slightly over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 30.0 degree Celsius at Sitakunda and Ambagan and minimum temperature today was recorded at 09.3 degree Celsius at Tetulia.
The sun sets today at 5-19pm and rises tomorrow at 6-39am in the capital Dhaka.
