DHAKA, Dec 26, 2024 (BSS) - Hajaribagh Thana Police today arrested a listed 
terrorist Md Liton Hawladar alias “Killer Liton” from Baroikhali area in the 
old part of the capital.

Liton was a listed terrorist with the Police Headquarters and Dhaka 
Metropolitan Police (DMP) headquarters and also accused in 14 criminal cases 
with different police stations of the metropolis.

Acting on secret information, a team of Hajaribagh Thana Police raided 
Baroikhali area at about 12.30am and arrested him. He was accused in various 
criminal activities including mugging, extortion and launching of terrorist 
attacks on the innocent people for long time,

Hailing from Bajitkhan village under Mehendiganj Upazila of Barisal district, 
Liton was residing at a rented house at Baroi khali area for long time. Local 
police, detective branch (DB) of police and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) were 
also trying to nab him.

As, he was accused in various criminal activities including mugging, 
extortion and terrorist attacks, he was popularly known as 'Killer' Liton.

Legal measurers were taken against the arrested person in this connection.
