DHAKA, DEC 26, 2024 (BSS) - BNP Chairperson's Adviser Zainul Abedin Farroque today demanded revealing the white paper on corruption of the deposed prime minister  Sheikh Hasina and her family before the nation.

“Only filing graft cases will not be enough, rather white paper on the corruption of Sheikh Hasina and all of her family should be presented before the nation,” he told a sit-in programme in front of Jatiya Press Club here.

‘Gonotontro Forum’ organized the programme demanding the 'publication of the white paper on the unlimited corruption of mother of mafia fascist murderer Hasina and her allies’.

Farroque said deposed autocrat Sheikh Hasina is hatching various conspiracies continuously against the interim government staying in neighbouring India.

BNP had warned the interim government repeatedly to remove the allies of the Sheikh Hasina’s regime from the secretariat, he said. 

“Sheikh Hasina's cohorts are conspiring again to bring Sheikh Hasina to power. We will not allow this to happen,” he said.

About the fire incident at the Secretariat, the BNP leader question how the fire broke out when office remained closed and security personnel were on duty in the office.

He also questioned how Obaidul Quader fled Bangladesh to India.

Noting that BNP has faith in the interim government, Farroque also reiterated his call to clearly announce the date of national election. 

An elected government will complete the next major reform, he said.

BNP Joint Secretary General Advocate Abdus Salam Azad, Executive Committee Members Abu Naser Md. Rahmatullah and Nesarul Haque and Krishak Dal's religious affairs secretary Quader Siddiqui were present, among others, at the programme.
