DHAKA, Dec 27, 2024 (BSS) - Kendriyo Kochi Kachar Mela today organized a drawing, recitation and science affairs speech competition on the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin, Palli Kabi Jasim Uddin and scientist Dr Abdullah-Al-Muti Sharfuddin. 

Prizes and certificates were distributed among the winners in the city's Kochi-Kachar Mela auditorium.

Professor of Dhaka University Syed Manzoorul Islam was present as the chief guest while competition's president Dr. Rowshan Ara Firoz and its vice-president Khondaker Md. Asaduzzaman, among others, spoke at the function with Zayan Adam Chowdhury in the chair. 

Syed Manjurul Islam said such events are very important to increase children's creativity and interest in knowledge. 

He said future generations will be inspired by the creativity of Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin, Palli Kabi Jasim Uddin and Abdullah-Al-Muti Sharfuddin love for science.
