DHAKA, Dec 28, 2024 (BSS) – Police arrested a listed criminal Md Sohel Rana,   alias “speaker Sohel” who is wanted in 16 cases, with homemade weapons in capital’s Kalabagan area.

Kalabagan police   arrested him in front of a house on Crescent Road, Kalabagan at 06:00 am on Friday, said a DMP press release today.

Acting on a tip off, a patrol team of the police   rounded up Sohel while preparing to rob a house on Crescent Road. 

At that time, a switch gear knife, cutting pliers (plus), a plier      and a mobile phone were seized from his possessions.

Police said that the arrested Sohel Rana is a DMP's listed robber, terrorist and wanted in 16 cases at Kalabagan and Tejgaon police stations.
