DHAKA, Dec 29, 2024 (BSS) - The Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry
today withdrew two district judges from their respective stations and
attached them with the ministry till further order.

Public Relations Officer of the ministry, quoting a gazette notification,
said Kiran Sankar Halder, a member of the Labour Appeal Tribunal, Dhaka, and
Secretary of the Law Commission Begum Umme Kulsum were attached with the
ministry after consultation with Bangladesh Supreme Court (SC).
 
According to the gazette notification, the ministry has transferred both the
members of Bangladesh Judicial Service for public interest.
