DHAKA, Dec 30, 2024 (BSS) - A court here today showed five people including 
Hasanul Haque Inu and Salman F Rahman arrested in fresh cases filed over 
murders and murder attempt those took place during student-led July-August 
mass uprising.

The three other arrested are- Shahjahan Khan, Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Atiqul 
Islam.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sharifur Rahman passed the orders as police 
produced the five accused before the court and pleaded to show them arrested 
in the cases.

Of the five, Salman F Rahman was shown arrested in a murder case filed with 
the Mirpur Model Police Station, while Palak was shown arrested in another 
murder case filed with the Shahbagh Police Station. Former Dhaka North City 
Corporation mayor Atiqul Islam was shown arrested in a murder attempt case 
filed with Airport Police Station and a murder case filed with Uttara West 
Police Station. 

Shahjahan Khan was shown arrested in a murder case filed with Hatirjheel 
Police Station, while Hasanul Haque Inu was shown arrested in another murder 
case filed with the Gulshan Police Station.
