SAVAR, Dec 30, 2024 (BSS) - Mehedi Mamun of Daily Bonik Barta and Abdullah Al Mamun of Protom Alo have been elected as president and general secretary of Jahangirnagar University Journalists' Association (JUJA) respectively for next one year.

Chief Election Commissioner Prof Dr Lutful Elahi announced the election result around 2pm today, while Assistant Election Commissioner Associate Prof Muhammad Rezaul Rakib and Md Yousuf Harun were present. 

The other office bearers are vice-president Bayezid Hassan Rakib of Daily Inqilab, joint secretary Jubayer Ahmed of DBC News, treasurer Razib Raihan of Protidiner Bangladesh and office and publication secretary Mah Alam of Daily Observer.
