DHAKA, Dec 30, 2024 (BSS) - Disaster Management and Relief Adviser Faruk E Azam Bir Protik today received cheque for Tk 47.88 lakh in favour of Chief Adviser Prof Dr. Muhammad Yunus at his secretariat office here today.

Officials-employees of the Ministry Food Ministry and its affiliated offices and institutions donated the money for people affected by recent floods. Food secretary Md Masudul Hasan handed over the cheque to adviser.

Disaster Management and Relief Ministry Secretary Md Kamrul Hasan and higher officials of the ministry were present at the event.  

Disaster Management and Relief Adviser Faruk E Azam Bir Protik received Tk 980,447,203 taka through a total of 237 cheques, pay-orders and bank drafts for the Chief Adviser’s relief and welfare fund.
