NILPHAMARI, Dec 30, 2024 (BSS)- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has urged all to remain careful so that any difference of opinion among political parties and individuals cannot lead to such a situation that can harm the country and its people.
"There might have differences of opinion among the political parties and leaders. But we have to be careful so that such differences do not reach to a level where the country and the people would be affected,” he said.
Tarique Rahman was addressing virtually a BNP rally organized by Amra BNP Paribar at Dubachhuri Dimukhi Dakhil Madrasha here today.
The rally was organized on the occasion of handover a newly built house to family of slain BNP leader Golam Rabbani who was allegedly killed in RAB crossfire on January 18, 2014.

“Golam Rabbani was merely a political activist. What was his fault? His only fault was protesting the dictatorial regime,” he said.
He called upon all to stand by the families of those who were killed or injured in the long struggle for restoration of democracy and people’s rights.
Noting that there are many problems in the country, Tarique Rahman said the problems should be resolved in phases.
