DHAKA, Jan 11, 2025 (BSS) - One dengue patient died while 45 were admitted to
different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this
morning.

"During the period, four patients were hospitalised in Chattogram, one in
Barishal division, nine in Dhaka division, nine in Dhaka North city while 15
in Dhaka South, one in Mymensingh, one in Khulna and five were admitted to
different hospitals in Rajshahi," said a press release issued by the
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 573 while four deaths from dengue disease
were reported this year.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214 while 575 deaths from
dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
