DHAKA, Jan 28, 2025 (BSS) - Two separate courts here today set April 8 for submitting probe report in three murder and murder attempt cases filed against Salman F Rahman, former private industry affairs adviser to ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
Dhaka Senior Judicial Magistrate Victoria Chakma set the date for submitting probe report in two murder attempt cases filed with the Nawabganj Police Station, while Dhaka Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohiuddin fixed the same date for filing probe report in a murder case filed with the Dohar Police Station.
The two courts passed the order in presence of Salman and sent him back to jail.
Salman F Rahman was arrested from the capital's Sadarghat area as he was trying to flee the capital along with former law minister Anisul Huq through the waterways on August 13, 2024. He was placed on a 10-day remand in shopper Shahjahan Ali murder case the next day.
