DHAKA, Feb 01, 2025 (BSS) - The price of all fuels has been increased by Taka one per liter, effective from today (February 1).
The Energy and Mineral Resources Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources announced the decision yesterday.
The energy division said fuel price has been increased keeping consistency with fluctuation of its price in the global market and automatic price fixing system every month under the price fixing formula.
According to the decision, diesel and kerosene price has been increased to Taka 105 from 104, price of octane has been adjusted to Taka 126 from Taka 125, while price of petrol have been increased to Taka 122 from Taka 121.
The adjustment aims to ensure a steady supply of fuel throughout February, the release added.
