DHAKA, Feb 04, 2025 (BSS) - Twenty seven dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the last 24 hours till this morning.

"During the period, 10 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, four in Chattogram, seven in Dhaka division, one in Dhaka South, one in Mymensingh and four were admitted to different hospitals in Khulna," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 1,227 while 10 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214 while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
