DHAKA, Feb 5, 2025 (BSS) – Police has arrested three professional snatchers from Mirpur-11 while they were snatching mobile phones.

The arrestees were identified as Mohammaad Akhter Hossain, 32, Mohammad Zahid, 37 and Mohammad Alauddin, 22, said a media release of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

Police said they arrested the three while they (snatchers) were trying to flee the scene after snatching mobile phone in front of Top Ten in Mirpur-11 on Tuesday at about 06:40pm.

The victim, Md Ajmesh, an engineer of a private construction firm, filed a case with Pallabi Police Station.

Police said the arrested individuals were wanted in multiple cases in Pallabi Police Station.
