KHULNA, March 22, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 1,41,064 students, including
71,979 girls, are going to appear in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC)
examinations under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (JSEB), Jashore this year.
They will appear in the public examinations from 2,570 institutions in 299
centres in all 10 districts under Jashore Board scheduled to be held from
April 10 like other education boards in the country, said Professor Dr Abdul Matin, controller of Examinations of the Board.
As many as 40,144 students from science group, 85,238 from humanities group and 15,682 students from business group, totaling 141,064 are scheduled to sit for the SSC examination, he said.
He said, they have published 23 policies for holding the examinations successfully.
Vigilance teams were formed side by side with the respective district and
upazila administrations for peaceful examinations.
Prof Dr Matin said that disciplinary action will be taken against those who will be found engaged either in any irregularity or negligence.
Section 144 will be imposed during SSC examinations in all the centers, he said, adding that people who will break the rules during examinations must face legal action.
